Virender Sehwag is confident that India will win ICC World Cup 2011 in front of the home crowd. Sehwag has full confidence on the team players and was not worried about injures of players along with the players who were struggling with poor form.
Sehwag was missed out the ODI series against South African due to shoulder injury. Gautam Gambhir is recovering from hand injury. Both left-handed middle order batsmen Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina are fighting with their form. Every cricketer, at some point of time in their carrier will be struggling with their form. Sehwag was dropped from the team during 2006- 2007 due to his poor performance.
Virender Sehwag has come back strongly by scoring runs in all formats of the game. This is the right time for Indians to perform well and gift their fans with World Cup victory. World Cup is all different game from all the games they play, every individual team will be expecting to win the trophy.
The other teams in the Group B along with India were South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland and Netherland. Indians have done their home work for each and every team and all set to deliver their best to win World Cup.
Earlier, India was defeated in the hands of Bangladesh in group stages in 2007 World Cup. Sehwag said they will take revenge this time as most of the matches were scheduled in India. They know the conditions very well here other than any team.
Playing in World Cup is very exciting and this is his third one, every cricketer will be dreaming to play big tournament. Sehwag is hoping their strong batting line up with Sachin, Gambhir, Yuvraj, Dhoni, Raina, Kholi and Pathan will win World Cup for India.
