Ghana defeats Serbia 1-0 at FIFA world cup: Watch highlights, updates and all details

FIFA 2010 is gripping everyone now. In today’s match of Ghana Vs Serbia witnessed history. Ghana became the first African team ever to win a match in the first World Cup to be held on African soil.

The crowd, which became a part of the history, erupted in elation after the final whistle. This has been the most exciting match of the FIFA 2010 so far. Ghana team looked very impressive from the very beginning against Serbia, though they went scoreless in the first half.

Till half time no goal was scored. Both the teams were close to creating scoring chances in the first half, but it didn’t materialize. Then in 84th minute came the goal from Asamoah Gyan. It came from the penalty spot after a hand box from Serbia’s Zdravko Kuzmanovic, who was given a yellow card. Serbia’s goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic dived to his left but the ball passed him and went into the net. And it resulted in a spectacular win for Ghana.
