My music has romance and mischief: Penaz Masani

ROMANTIC AND having a child like mischief is how Penaz Masani describes her music, which has captivated the world, since she arrived on the scene with 'Aap Ki Bazm Mein' in 1981. Noted for her mellifluous rendition of Ghazals, the singer was sharing her musical journey with select fans in the millennium city, Gurgaon, on the invitation of Razzel Dance School.

Recently awarded with a Padam Shri, Peenaz said that it was a great honour to be bestowed with the national award and promised to work harder for the cause of music and humanity in future.

Currently, the Ghazal singer is working on a musical album by poet Dushyant Kumar, who has written extensively on social and political issues.
