Baba Ramdev to go on hunger strike from June 4

YOGA GURU Baba Ramdev has said that he will go on an indefinite hunger strike from Saturday June 4 in New Delhi against corruption and black money. Earlier, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh appealed from the yoga guru to call off his planned hunger strike.
Baba Ramdev will start his satyagraha at Delhi's Ramlila ground in favour of his demand that the government bring back black money stashed away in foreign banks. He also demanded from the Union Government that Indians should not be allowed to deposit money in foreign bank and the money already deposited in the foreign bank should be declared national property. Class 10 Haryana Board of School Education results declared

STUDENTS OF class 10, Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) must have had to wake up early as their results were expected to be declared at 7 am in the morning. Yet again, girls performed better than boys as far as their academic achievements is concerned. The passing percentages of girls was 5 per cent more than that of boys.

Around 3, 37,166 students had appeared for the exam, out of which 2, 29, 390 managed to clear the exams.  When the declaration of results began to float in, students started to log onto the net and check their results. Continoue Reading…..

Lottery for 4034 MHADA houses to be held today

ACCORDING TO the Maharashtra Housing Area Development Authority (MHADA), 4034 houses are up for grabs for residents of Mumbai. The sale of forms began online from 27 May till 19 May 2011, and the results are scheduled to be declared today. Applications from 1.40 lakh people were received for this purpose. The lottery will be held at Rangasharda hall in Bandra Reclamation at Mumbai.

THE IMPORTANT causes of smoking–related mortality include heart diseases and chronic obstructive lung disease. Quitting smoking involves the combination of behavioural therapy and drugs. Combination therapy is clearly superior to counseling alone or drugs alone. Drug therapy involves giving a varenicline or combined nicotine replacement.
