IPL 2010: CSK Vs RCB, Live score and updates

CHENNAI SUPER Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore's match has started and it is being telecasted on Sony Set Max. The match started at 4 pm and it is being played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai.

RCB has won three out of their four matches whereas CSK has won only two out of their four matches This is the second time that both the teams are confronting each other in lPL-3.

CSK skipper Dhoni is under immense pressure as RCB had won the last match against his team and Chennai is now struggling to get a better position to breath easy.

RCB under Anil Kumble’s leadership is playing brilliantly but the team lost their last game against DD. Their batting has been strengthened by Kevin Peterson, who replaced Eoin Morgan.  RCB's Praveen Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Anil Kumble, D Steyne and not to forget the ever dependable Jacques Kallis, will put Chennai's top order to stern test.

Chennai is in difficult condition as its players are not in a great form.. Dhoni and his boys are continuously failing to make up good batting partnerships and this has been their bane throughout the tournament.

IPL 2010 MI VS King XIP: Live score and updates

IT IS  top versus bottom in the Indian Premier League today as the Mumbai Indians welcome disheartened Kings XI Punjab to the Brabourne Stadium.

The Kings XI have won just 1 game from 6, and find themselves all alone at the bottom of the league with just 2 points to their name.They will make the trip to Mumbai with suspended skipper Kumar Sangakkara, who has been told to sit out of this game after failing to bowl his side's 20 overs in the available time for the third occasion.

Mumbai, have on the other hand has won 5 of their 6 games so far and are  at the top of the league with 10 points. They will be hoping to hit the half-way stage of the tournament with the added cushion of another two points, and the knowledge that a semi-final spot is pretty much in the bag. 

Sachin Tendulkar continues to mesmerize with the bat, taking his personal tally of runs past the 300 mark in the tournament so far, including 45 fours. His four half-centuries have been as different in their construction as possible, it would be interesting to see how he bats today as he is not so far from getting the orange cap and become highest run getter.

IPL 2010: DD Vs KKR, latest updates, live score

TONIGHT, THERE is going to be a heated battle between the Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders. The performance of the Delhi Daredevils in the past matches have been in an equilibrium as the number of matches they have won is equal to the number of losses suffered in the DLF IPL season 3. IPL League 2010: KKR Vs KXIP, live cricket score, latest updates

ALL EYES would be on the match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and  Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) today, March 27 which is scheduled at PCA stadium, Mohali. Having lost four of their five matches, KXIP is under immense pressure to win while Kolkata Knight Riders, who started with a bang, also need a victory if they want to make an impact.

The captains of both the teams Sourav Ganguly of KKR and Sangakara of KXIP seem to be apprehensive as well as confident.

KKR coach Dave Whatmore said that the team is trying hard not to leave any loopholes in this match. "Three defeats on a trot definitely affects your morale but we have tried to identify our shortcomings," he said. KKR's owner ShahRukh seems to be pretty excited as KXIP owned by Preity Zinta is their opponent for the match today.

Sahara and Rendezvous Sports win IPL bids for Pune and Kochi

THE SAHARA group has purchased the Pune team and Rendezvous Sports purchased the Kochi team on Sunday March 21, for the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League  (IPL) tournament. Sahara Group and Rendezvous Sport bought the Pune and Kochi teams for Rs 1702 crores and Rs 1533 crores respectively.
Five bidders took part in the final round of bidding for the two new team on Sunday in Mumbai. Indian Premier League Commissioner Lalit Modi made the announcement of the winner of bid for the two new teams of IPL 2010, Pune and Kochi. Currently Sahara India is the main sponsor the Indian cricket team.
